City Skydive
The Double Dutch championships will be held at City Skydive. A unique building with two(!) glass tunnels and a total of eight wind turbines that can generate a wind speed of up to 300 km per hour. A beautiful landmark along the highway!
The different disciplines (VFS, Dynamic, Freestyle) of these championships will be flown simultaneously in both tunnels.
Food & beverages
City Skydive has its own bar with beverages and coffee, but no restaurant.
From City Skydive it’s just a 1 minute walk to the ‘Food Spot’. This is a food court with restaurants that offer 10 different kind of cuisines and thus has a large variation of choice. Across the street, is the Shell gas station. They’ll have a variation of sandwiches and snacks.
How to get there?
City Skydive is centrally located in the Netherlands. And because it’s such a small country with awesome public transportation and well-paved highways it's very easy to get to our tunnel. Feel free to figure out your own way to get to us, but you'll find some some tips for transportation and accommodation below.

SCHIPHOL
- By car: Take the A4 highway in direction of Amsterdam. After 3,5km follow the A9 in direction of Utrecht. Than after 12km follow the A2/E35 to Utrecht and after 19 km take exit ‘6 t/m 8 – Maarssen’. You will see the tunnel to at your right. By public transport: You can either:

Get on any Intercity train to Utrecht Central station (€8,80).
At Utrecht Central Station you need to take ‘Bus 4 De Wetering Via Langerak’.
Get out at ‘Zwemstrand Haarrijn’. (€2,-) -
Take a train to Station Maarssen (€7,60).
From Station Maarssen there take ‘Bus 10 Lunette via Terwijde’ Get out at ‘Utrecht – The Foodspot’. (€2,-)

ROTTERDAM AIRPORT
- By car: From the airport get on the A13 to Rotterdam and after 2km turn onto the A20 in direction of ‘Utrecht’. The A20 will flow into the A12. Keep following ‘Utrecht’. When getting to the highway ring Utrecht, follow ‘Utrecht West, Amsterdam/Maarssen/A2’. Keep following signs with ‘Maarssen/Vleuten/Ring/N230’ and take Exit 6. You will see the tunnel at your left. Get to Rotterdam Central Station with ‘Bus 33’. (€2,-)
At Rotterdam Central get on any train to Utrecht Central Station (€10,50).
At Utrecht Central take ‘Bus 4 De Wetering Via Langerak’. Get out at ‘Zwemstrand Haarrijn’. (€2,-)
UTRECHT CENTRAL STATION
- By public transport: You can either:
- Get ‘Bus 4 De Wetering Via Langerak’ and get out at ‘Zwemstrand Haarrijn’ (€2,-).
- Get on a train to Maarssen and from there take ‘Bus 10 Lunetten via Terwijde’ and get out at ‘Utrecht – The Foodspot’ (€2,-).
- Get ‘Bus 4 De Wetering Via Langerak’ and get out at ‘Zwemstrand Haarrijn’ (€2,-).
